Dacima Software is built around a team of professionals with long-term expertise in healthcare and the development of database software for the healthcare sector.

John Podoba, President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and cofounder, received his Ph.D. in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from McGill University, a Graduate Diploma in Public Administration from Carleton University, and M.Sc. (Physiology) and B.Sc. (Immunology) degrees from McGill University. His work on infectious diseases, health services research and geriatrics has been published in journals and presented at conferences around the world. He has developed databases for the Montreal General Hospital, the Jewish General Hospital, St. Mary's Hospital, and The Canadian Liver Foundation (Vancouver Chapter).

Dacima Software has successfully implemented database projects for McGill University, Université de Montréal, CLSC René Cassein, the Jewish General Hospital, the Montreal General Hospital, St Justine's Hospital, Hôpital-de-l'Enfant-Jésus du CHA, Université de Laval and Symbios RP Inc.
